Keeping Strong Connections: Supporting Incarcerated Mothers and their Children
January 31 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm PST
The loss of a parent to incarceration can be deeply traumatic for children. The Aid to Incarcerated Inmate Mothers program in Alabama helps incarcerated mothers and their children stay connected by providing education, facilitating visits, working with extended family, and supporting reunification once women leave prison. Join for a discussion of the many ways we can work with and support families impacted by parental incarceration.
