The Hopeful Science Behind Positive Experiences
April 16 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm PDT
One of the most exciting applications of The Science of the Positive is in the developing body of research around positive experiences as a counterbalance to the harmful effects of ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) across the lifespan. This ongoing research is transforming how we address the prevention and mitigation of trauma and opening new avenues for increasing community and individual health and wellness. This session will include reviewing the latest data on the impacts of positive experiences on child and adult health outcomes, and implications for how this emerging science can help bring even greater health and wellbeing to you and the people you serve.
