TRAINING DETAILS:

This highly interactive workshop will help leaders create a culture of personal and group accountability in the workplace. Participants will learn strategies and frameworks for increasing individual ownership and assess the level of accountability within their current team. This workshop is not centered on how to deliver disciplinary conversations for poor performance; however, we will have the opportunity to briefly address effective methods for tracking and assessing staff performance.

 

Learners will:

• Use accountability workshop tools to distinguish how tasks are prioritized to meet group, team, or department goals
• Increase personal and group accountability for obligations and people by applying the principles of the Accountability Culture Model (ACM)
• Assess current team accountability and address areas of deficit

 

Who should attend: Staff in leadership roles and/or emerging leaders in family resource center (FRCs), child abuse prevention councils (CAPCs), community-based organizations, and other child- and family-serving systems

 

IMPORTANT TRAINING INFORMATION:

• This is an interactive training. Please be prepared to participate in activities such as group discussion, break out rooms, and/or demonstration. Your training experience will be best with the use of a web cam, audio, and a training environment conducive to active participation.
• This is a small-group training. Spaces are limited space and there may be a waiting list. Preference will be given to applicants from California. All applicants will be contacted by the week of September 25, 2023.
• CalTrin “No Show” Policy. While CalTrin training is provided at no cost to learners, it requires significant financial and human resources to provide high-quality, small-group interactive training experiences. In addition, these trainings frequently have a waiting list. Selected participants who do not attend this training and do not contact CalTrin in advance may not be selected for future application-based small group trainings.
