Join this free virtual Lunch & Learn event with leaders from Safe & Sound, other child-serving organizations, and individuals with lived expertise to discuss how to move from simple inclusion of lived experience to honoring lived expertise. While lived experience is often invoked by organizations advocating for systems change, the follow through has too frequently been perfunctory or tokenized. We believe that has to change. Our discussion will focus on how to move from thinking of lived experience as a small subset of knowledge, to recognizing it for what it is: lived expertise that provides invaluable insight into system reform.
